X Men

A damn good movie. I was skeptical at first, how many comic book movies actually make it, I mean look at Batman, but the acting directing and special effects all came together to back an bitchin’ movie. Jean Gray, played by Famke Jenssen (oh my God she’s almost looks as good as Hurley) was out of this world (though I would have love see her use a little more of her powers) I thought that Hugh Jackman would be a really shitty wolverine. But he pulled it off, he wasn’t a super cocky bastard and he wasn’t a total pus either. (I thought he was going to be one or the other). This is definitely a movie to see in a good movie theater. It had some badass sound effects.

The Patriot

Another damn good movie. The only people that wouldn’t like this epic film would be those damn communists (not that there’s a lot of them left in the world). This is the kind of movie that makes you stand up in the middle of the theater and scream GOD DAMN IM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!! With its ever thickening plot and its phenomenal battle scenes (god almighty this is a good film) The Patriot is the Brave Heart of the next Millennium. (Sorry Hurley, English people are OK).

The Whole Nine Yards

This is a must see. With it twisting and turning of the plot, It’ll suck you in and wont let go until the end. It stars Bruce Willis a mob hit man that’s in the witness program and Mathew Perry the nosy next door neighbor that knows to much. It’s a comedy with a shit load of people dieing and one cute girl (no way near Hurley) that’s walking around butt necked killing people. You got to love it.

Gun Shy

A comedy about an undercover cop trying to bust some money launders. It’s an excellent kind hearted, minimum violence movie staring Liam Neeson as the flatulent cop and Sandra Bullock as the enema giving nurse.

BeDazzled

I cannot wait for this one. Even if the story sucks. Even if the directing sucks. It’s going to Hurley in a bikini, I’m there man. This is a good role for her, playing the devil, Satan, Lucifer, man she’s one hell of a seductress. Hurley hasn’t had too many bad films; Rowing with the Wind was bad…real bad. ……really really bad, then again she made up for it with a couple of topless scenes , but she has always had a good role.

Rules of Engagement

Staring Samuel L. Jackson, Tommy Lee Jones
Decent movie. Great action scenes that keep the public in awe of the Marine Corp. Unfortunatly, being in the Marine Corps I couldn't help but be insulted by certain aspects. I won't bore you with the details but regulations do say that when entering a hostile enviroment warning shots are not to be fired. We are taught one shot one kill. Anyway, besides the trivial matters a great movie. Loses some for bad research.

Mission Impossible

Starring Tom Cruise, Jon Voight, Ving Rhames
Good movie. Only one thing I don't understand, Mr. Phelps was a major character in the TV series. What kind of moron makes him the villian in the first movie? I could understand the 2nd or 3rd but 1st? I loved the plot. Many will complain it was too confusing, but movies that make you think are the best kind. An edge of your seat type of movie that only had the one flaw.

Shrek

Starring the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Camroon Diaz and John Litgough
This is an outstanding animated movie. And since its not done by Disney you can expect all sorts of dirty humor. The story is set in a time of fantasy when the evil "king" is rounding up all the fairy tale creatures and exiles them to a swamp, which just happens to be the ogre's (Shrek) home. Shrek (Myers) sets out to get everone out of his swamp with his new companion a tlaking donkey (Murphy). I say more but I don't want to spoil the movie. Just trust me, it's funny. As far as animated movies go this will become a classic.
